After moving to South Huntsville I started taking my senior Boston terrier here for care. When we first started going, the doctor was great. I can’t remember her name, but she was really sweet and knowledgeable. She left the practice and the man that took over was sterile and off putting. My dog had a seizure for the first time and the vet tech decided to inform me of all of the seizures his dog has and write it off like no big deal. They didn’t do anything but tell us to watch her. Later the same day she had more seizures so we took her to the emergency vet. They recommended a medication And when we returned to the animal care clinic, they incorrectly, gave her a higher dose of that medication instead of the extended release version my dog needed. She held on for a few more weeks Until she had another set of seizures, she couldn’t come back from. After showing the emergency vet the medicine we had been giving our dog they let us know that that was the reason that she passed. I wouldn’t take a goldfish to this place at this point. I don’t recommend them in the slightest. My heart is still broken because we trusted them for help.

The staff is very friendly. I love that you don’t need an appointment. You just have to wait your turn and they usually don’t take too long.

Very unprofessional facility. Waited in the lobby for over 20 minutes before anyone even greeted me . While I was waiting I saw a family come in with a dog that was obviously not doing well and was most likely about to be euthanized. A few moments later I saw 2 of the technicians making the “dying gesture” with their hands around their necks . This was in clear view of clients and the front office. Very disrespectful and tasteless. I myself have been a veterinary technician for over 10 years and have never experienced this form of carelessness in a clinic. 10/10 would NOT recommend this hell hole.

Be aware. They close at 1pm on Saturday, arrived at 1220pm, no longer taking patients. Updated: I dropped off my dogs this week for boarding and a bath. I said I wanted to pick up on Saturday, August 1. Nobody batted an eye. Sitting in the parking lot at 1135am Saturday 8/1 and they are closed. From my previous post, several months ago, I knew they were closing by 1pm on Saturdays. Really mad that they did not tell me they were now closed on Saturdays when I dropped my girls off.
